Our Promise to You
We want you to be delighted with your Beastique™ purchase. If something isn’t right, we’ll make it right. Because all of our fine-art prints are made to order, we don’t accept returns for a change of mind. However, if your print arrives damaged or is defective, we’ll reprint/replace it, or refund you in accordance with South African consumer law and the terms below.
We reserve the right to update this policy from time to time. Please review the latest Terms & Conditions, Returns & Refunds Policy, and any other terms on this website before making a purchase.
1. Made-to-Order: No Change-of-Mind Returns
All Beastique™ prints are made to order (i.e., produced specifically to your selection of image, size, and paper). For this reason, we do not accept returns or exchanges due to a change of mind, incorrect size, or personal taste.
Note: Minor variations in tone, brightness, or contrast between on-screen previews and physical prints are normal due to differences in device/display settings, as well as print profiles. These are not defects.
2. Statutory Warranty for Defects (6 Months)
If your print is defective (fails to meet the CPA’s quality/fitness standards) within six (6) months of delivery, you may return it at our cost and, at your election, we will repair (reprint), replace, or refund you.
- Examples of defects include: printing faults, material flaws, or workmanship issues not caused by misuse, improper handling/storage, or fair wear.
- If we repair/reprint and the defect reoccurs within three months, you may insist on a replacement or refund.
3. Damaged in Transit
If a parcel arrives damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the outer packaging, shipping label, and the print. Please retain all packaging until we confirm the next steps. We will arrange collection and reprint/replace at our cost once assessed. (Returns for defects or damage are at the supplier’s risk/expense.)
4. What’s Not Covered
We cannot accept returns where issues arise from:
- incorrect handling, hanging, exposure to moisture, heat, or direct sunlight;
- accidental damage after delivery;
- improper unpacking (e.g., cutting into packaging near the print); or
- colour/brightness differences due to screens vs. print.
5. Return Process (Defective/Damaged Only)
- Email [your returns email] within the applicable timeframe (48 hours for transit damage; within 6 months for defects).
- Please include your order number, a detailed description of the issue, and any relevant photos/videos.
- We’ll confirm collection or provide a prepaid return label.
- On inspection, we’ll reprint/replace or refund per Section 2 above.
6. Refund Method & Timing
Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method. Statutory timelines apply (e.g., 15 business days after a valid CPA direct-marketing cancellation notice; within 30 days for qualifying ECTA cancellations).
7. Title, Risk & Delivery
Risk passes on delivery to your address (or collection point). Damage noted upon delivery must be reported in accordance with Section 3.

9. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and, where applicable, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002. Nothing in this policy limits your non-waivable statutory rights.
